Arrival

You should aim to arrive at the house between 3 p.m. and 6 p.m.

Please 'phone ahead, 07719 815403, approx. 1 hour before arrival, and we will meet you with the keys and a welcome pack. It will take us at least 45 minutes to travel to the house from our base. In an emergency a set of keys is available next door at No 50.

Travel times to the house from your port of embarkation are approximately as follows:

Southampton to East Cowes (Red Funnel car ferry) 50 mins then 20 minutes to Cowes via the floating bridge (£1.50 per car, passengers free, see 'Cowes Chain Ferry' tab for timetable and fares)

Southampton (Quay 2) to Cowes (Red Jet passengers only) 22 minutes then 15 minutes walk or 5 minutes by taxi.

Lymington to Yarmouth (Wightlink car ferry) 30 minutes then 30 minutes via Newport.

Portsmouth to Fishbourne (Wightlink car ferry) 45 minutes then 25 minutes via Newport.

A welcome pack of tea, coffee, milk, eggs, bread and butter will be provided free of charge on arrival. Additional items can be supplied, provided that we receive advance notification. There will be an additional charge for extra items. A Co-Op supermarket is only two minutes walk away from the house should you wish to purchase supplies on arrival.

On your day of departure you must leave by 10 a.m. to permit sufficent time for the change over between guests. Post the keys through the letter box on departure.
